About Our Project.
The sole purpose of our database is to be able to retrieve conference guest information from only one place instead of using multiple binders, and paper files. The majority of conference guest information is found under the conference guest table. This includes everything necessary for a conference host (UB employee) checking in the conference guest who are staying in specific residence halls. Next there is a table for feedback and issues based on room. This will allow conference hosts to adjust and fix any problems that occur during their stay. The information stored in these tables is what makes it possible to create forms, queries, and reports.
The forms created in the database are an easy way for all conference host to input new conferences guests, feedback, and issues that are reported. This also allowing conference host to go back through to find issues that need to be fixed. The forms are helpful to conference hosts and the reports are for management use. These reports help with decisions that need to be made by maintenance managers as well as the residence hall manager. This will help everyone in the company on a day to day basis.
